The NC State AFL-CIO has sent a package with sample letters, papers and envelopes asking that we write Senator Kay Hagan asking her to support the Employee Free Choice Act. If you want to write her a letter it would be a good time to state our dissatisfaction with her vote for the 62 cent excise tax. Come by the conference room and pick up the package if you are interested in writing a letter.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has been looking at the website and helping spread the word about the website. There are alot of fellow Union brothers and sisters who do NOT know we have a website and are just learning about it so please spread the word. We have been told that the workers at U.S. Flue Cured Tobacco in Timberlake, NC are interested in organizing a Union. We need some contacts from that company. If you know anyone who works at that facility will you please let us know.
