The regular monthly Union meeting will be held this Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at the Union Hall on JJ Drive @ 430pm. The newly elected Vice President will be sworn in at this meeting.
Reminder:the election for Vice President will take place FRIDAY, FEB 12th in the Union Conference Room. The results will be posted right here on www.317t.com once it becomes official, so please check back Friday night.
At the January Union meeting, there was nominations for Vice President which will be elected on Feb 12, 2010 in the Union Conference Room. Those nominated are as follows in the position they will appear on the ballot.

The Executive Board met today and appointed Earl Jaggers as interim Vice President. Earl will serve as Vice President until a new VP is elected on Feb. 12, 2010 in the Union Conference Room at work.
Nominations for Vice President will be held at the Union Meeting on Jan. 9 2010, since because of the holidays, there will be no regular monthly Union Meeting for December. Shop Steward Elections will be at the January meeting as well.
Election will be Feb 12 2010 and the new VP will take office Feb 13 2010 at the regular monthly Union meeting.
Today, Randy W, Fulk swore in new BCTGM Local 317-T President Barry Jenkins in front of the Executive Board. The Executive Board did meet to discuss an interim VIce President but did not come to a final decision.
The November Union meeting will be held at the Union Hall on JJ Drive at 430 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
The Contract Extension has passed.
A special Union meeting will be held on Sunday October 25, 2009 concerning a proposed contract extension. WE WILL VOTE ON THIS ON SUNDAY!! The vote will be to accept or deny the contract extension brought back from the Negotiation Committee.

The Regular Monthly Union Meeting will be held Saturday, Octrober 10th at 430 pm on JJ Drive.
There will be no Union Meeting at the Union Hall next month, but a Contract Proposal Meeting will be held Sunday, November 15th at the Teamsters Hall Off of Sandy Ridge Rd. It is currently scheduled from 2pm to 6pm.
